REWORKED TEXTILES
+ CREATIVE PRACTICE
Slow making, reclaimed textiles, and creative projects grounded in sustainability and reuse.
Cleo Borrello is a creative practice founded by a Fremantle based textiles teacher and creative practitioner, exploring sustainable textiles, calming creative practices, ADHD friendly tools, and community-based making.
Through workshops, printable resources, and hands on creative projects, Cleo supports people to reconnect with creativity, regulation, sustainability, and practical everyday systems in ways that feel accessible and grounded.
Materials used throughout Cleo projects are reclaimed, repurposed, vintage, deadstock, or sourced second hand through local op shops, donations, and collected textiles with their own history and character.
The practice explores slow making, sustainability, repair, and thoughtful production through creative reuse and tactile process.
Alongside workshops and creative projects, Cleo releases small drops of locally produced textile pieces created using reclaimed, vintage, and sustainably sourced materials.
Each collection is produced slowly and intentionally in limited quantities, with a focus on thoughtful construction, textile reuse, and individuality.
Custom projects and sentimental textile reworking are also welcomed, offering opportunities to transform meaningful garments and fabrics into new functional or keepsake pieces.
